I’ve been a sleep consultant for several years and, after a rocky start, now regularly have a waiting list for my 1:1 support.
I’ve been featured in Glamour, WorkLife, the local press and on BBC radio and I regularly have large corporate clients asking me to speak to their employees about the impact of sleep on wellbeing.
Hi, I'm Daisy, mum of two and award winning sleep consultant. I love coffee, crafting and early nights.
I can talk about sleep until I'm blue in the face!
I became a sleep consultant after we got help when our daughter was 4.5. She'd started school and was still waking 5+ times a night. It sounds cliched, but working with a sleep consultant literally changed our lives. I knew that there had to be plenty more families out there going through what we were, and I just couldn't stop thinking about what a difference I could make to them.
I trained as a sleep consultant whilst on maternity leave, and handed my notice in as soon as I returned to my job as a university manager. Within a year I'd replaced my salary, but even better than that I've been able to:
- work my own hours around my family (I typically work 9am - 3pm three days a week plus one or two evenings)
- attend every school concert and nursery stay-and-play
- reduce my son's childcare to three days a week
- take time off during the school holidays without using annual leave or asking for permission
I also know I am making such a difference to the lives of so many families, and that's honestly such a privilege. I'm so passionate about ending the pain of sleep deprivation and dispelling the myths around it. I'd love to help you do the same.
